Praying ain’t hard to do.

I’ve always been told that when you talk to God, you should talk to him as if you were talking to your friend. I mean really, it’s not like he created the whole Universe or anything.

So, when I pray, I usually start off with, “Hey God. What’s up man. How you doing?”

What do you start off with?

Anything short of cursing God as an introduction is acceptable. I mean really, he’s right there and knows the comings and goings of what’s going through your brain so why not be comfortable and just say, “What’s up man,” or “How you doing?” or “Can Jesus come over and play Uno with me?”

So, with the subject being about prayer, I wanted to see if my cavalcade of small readers might do something IF THEY SO WISH! I know that something good can come out of this blog. I have been alive for 33 years and never felt as convicted as I do now.

I wanted to see if you would pray for this little blog to reach people who need reaching and that in turn it would help me grow as a spiritual person.

Now, I certainly don’t expect you to have all the fun and do all the praying yourself. I want to pray for you too so tell me in the comments what you need prayer for and you can be specific or as vague as you like. You don’t even have to leave me your name if you don’t want.

When I die, I don’t care if people remember me. I want the resounding legacy of my existence to be that I snatched as many people as I could from being sucked into the pit of lies that integrate themselves so easily into our daily lives. I believe that this can be the start. Pray along with me that it will be and that my prayers can affect what’s going on in your life.

We can change the world together. 🙂

Leave a prayer petition in the comments and I will carve out time in my day to pray for whatever it is you need. In turn, I hope you can pray for the success of this blog and my life as a Catholic Christian. Tell your friends too if you like. 🙂

I could use a little encouragement.

  2. Thanks very much for the comment on my blog –very much appreciated.
I like the simplicity of being able to talk to God on an informal level. I don’t need to pull over to the side of the road, find the nearest church, dig my Bible out of the backseat, go inside, and start with “Our Father who art in heaven…”
Just talk to him –he knows.
